Zeeko polishing processes have been developed over the last 22 years by the parent Company of Zeeko Industrial. The development has been focussed on the “high-end” polishing of optical surfaces for satellite mirrors, X-ray telescopes, scanner technologies as well as the equally demanding market of mobile phone camera technology.

Zeeko-Industrial has taken that well-developed high-end technology, simplified it, re-engineered it by adding a fast high removal rate process supported by specialist tools and software and integrated it to regular industrial robots and CNC machine tools. This automated surface finishing process is now available to the industrial market and is being used for both machined and 3D printed precision components.

Typical applications are aerospace parts, precision moulds, turbine blades, orthopaedic joints, medical devices and other consumer applications including moulds for automotive Head Up Displays (HUD’s).

  • The Process runs on existing machine tools (just like yours) – 3,4 and 5 axis machines from Mazak, Fanuc, DMG, Hurco, Doosan, Haas and 6 axis robots from all the major suppliers like Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa, Staubli and many others
  • The process is intuitive for simple parts that need “shining” and remains uncomplicated on even the most complex and challenging high precision surfaces. In all applications it maintains a straightforward uncomplicated procedure and retains its “one button” interface wherever possible.
